Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can I operate a Snapology-like business on a part-time basis?
Yes.
This type of business can be operated on a full-time or part-time basis.  Snapology's business model is flexible.  During training we'll help you decide which programs to offer in both the short and long term.  You choose how many programs you'd like to manage.  Since we are not collecting any portion of your ongoing revenue, we have an unbiased outlook on how you may want to operate your business.

2. What kind of experience to I need to operate a Lego®-based business?
None.  Our comprehensive training program will prepare you to operate and manage all aspects of your business.

3. Why should I attend your training instead of doing this on my own?
Snapology proven business model has been incredibly successful.  Our programs have undergone rigorous testing.  We have used feedback from students, teachers and parents to revise and enhanced each and every program to ensure it's future success.
Additionally, after training, you'll become part of a team of entrepreneurs running Lego®-based businesses.  You'll have access to newly developed programs and ideas to keep your business fresh.

Additionally, if you do this on your own you'll spend countless hours and unnecessary money to develop the operations manuals, safety manuals, marketing materials, lesson plans and other crucial information that you'll be given during your training week at Snapology.

4. Can I use the Snapology name and logo?
Yes.  We think Snapology is a great name and we LOVE our logo.  We want you to benefit from our branding.

5. Why isn't Snapology a franchise?
In short, the 'big brother' nature of a franchise system simply did not appeal to Snapology's creators.  Snapology's owners made a conscious decision not to franchise.  There are several reasons for this.  First and foremost, franchise models tend to benefit the franchisor far more than the franchisee.  Since Snapology's creators had owned franchises of several businesses in the past and have seen this first hand, they did not want to be a part of a system that unfairly restrains entrepreneurs and takes from their profits.  Snapology wanted to offer a program that would allow individuals the chance to grow their own business without taking from their profits or unfairly constraining their territory or growth.  Knowing that the Lego®-based business model has unlimited potential, Snapology's creators wanted to offer a training program that also encouraged ongoing collaborative idea sharing.

Additionally, with this type of business, you really don't need a franchise.
It simply sells itself.  Operating on a local basis, as opposed to a large national company, can be very advantageous.  School Districts sometime hesitate to bring in an outside vendor for programs.  Local companies have a much easier time getting their foot in the door.  Parents also like the idea of supporting local businesses.  Why pay royalties when you can keep all the profit yourself?  Do you want to pay someone for revenue obtained on a program you created yourself?  Do you want someone telling you which schools you can sell to and which you cannot?  With Snapology's program, you get all the great features of a franchise (training, operations manuals, business model, marketing supplies, support) without the drag on your bottom line (franchise fees, limited territory, royalties, etc).  Snapology has been a great success without a franchise system...you can be too!  Take advantage of our training program and start your own business today!

6. How soon can I start my business after training?
Immediately!  You'll leave training with the knowledge to sell your first call and all the materials you need to teach your first class.  Since we don't limit your territory or put restrictions on your operating site, you are free to begin operations immediately.

7. Does Snapology provide financing?
Snapology does not provide financing directly.  We do, however, have a partnership with PNC Bank, who may be able to assist you with your financial needs.  We are happy to assist you with your business plan and we will cooperate with all financial institutions in an effort to expedite your financing.

8. Who do I speak with to get more information?
